New Shred Kelly Video Filmed on the Island Lake Property

Fernie band Shred Kelly has been getting many accolades lately and their new album, Archipelago, is a must listen for summer 2018. For some time, we had been thinking that our unique property would be an ideal set for a music video. From the old growth forest, babbling brooks, dramatic mountain peaks and historic lodge, the organic vibe seems well-matched with the music of Shred Kelly. In June of this year, we started shooting a video for their song Jupiter (Any other Way) and wrapped up in mid-July. The shoot was delayed a few times by weather and a mama moose with her calf (no joke!), but it all came together perfectly in the end.  Local filmer Dylan Siggers was the main cameraman and editor, and Nick Nault provided some amazing ariel drone shots. We are very proud of the result and happy to have collaborated with a fantastic local band going big. Here is the video and some photos from the shoot.
